Glyn Holton is an author and consultant who specializes in financial risk management. With twenty years of industry experience, he advises financial institutions and corporations on managing risk in the capital, commodity and energy markets. Among his publications are the first advanced text on value-at-risk, a groundbreaking paper on the philosophical foundations of risk, and the original paper that launched the United States Proxy Exchange. For fourteen years, Glyn hosted the influential Financial Risk Management Forum. He continues to host an online financial encyclopedia and a blog.
